"Kelly" + "Nicky" tracksuit set digital sewing patterns

This design was inspired by the classic hoodies and sporty tracksuits that originated in the 70s and 80s. The "Kelly" hoodie is cropped to accentuate your waist and pair well with the high-waisted “Nicky” joggers.

The hoodie features a big pocket in the front to make you feel extra cozy. The openings are hidden in the side seams. To make it a hoodie worth the name, the hood is big enough to cozy up in, even if you have a bigger head or a lot of hair.

The "Nicky" joggers are an everyday staple that is perfect to lounge in and wear outside as well. While they are very comfy, they still accentuate your figure in a flattering way. They feature slim legs, a high waist, an optional drawstring and seam pockets

To add a more retro look, you can add some colorful stripes to the front dividing seam of the hoodie and the side seams of the legs, as shown in the pictures.

Materials Needed

- Main fabric: Sweat, french terry or similar

- For the cuffs and waistband: 1x1 or 2x2 ribbing (matching or contrasting color)

- Jersey fabric for pocket and finishing seams

- Fusible Interfacing tape to stabilize pocket openings and drawstring openings

- Matching thread
